Presented by the International Institute of St. Louis as part of the Anna E. Crosslin Center for Multicultural Excellence, the Ubuntu Gala celebrates, recognizes, and honors supporters of the organization as well as those who champion multiculturalism in our communities.

Tina E. Grimes

Ubuntu Keynote Speaker

Tina E. Grimes, CEO of TINA Enterprises (Turning Intent iNto Action), is an electrifying and accomplished international speaker, author, executive coach and trainer with 30 years of experience.

Tina has a long history of service in St. Louis. She was inducted into the Inaugural Cardinal Ritter College Prep Hall of Fame and has served as Adjunct Professor at Harris Stowe State University. She has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Woman of Distinction Award for Inspiration from the Girl Scout Council of Eastern Missouri and a Her Award in business leadership. She also serves on two local Boards of Directors.

Her accomplishments span the globe, with recent events in Paraguay and Ethiopia. In 2020, she spoke at the prestigious International Maxwell Certification Conference and received the Maxwell Leadership Team Culture Award for Exceeding Expectations.

Tina is a servant leader who is invested in the community and strives to create a better community for her two children, Mya and Mason.

Each year, the International Institute of St. Louis recognizes individuals and organizations who work to support immigrants and refugees through sustained leadership, community investment, and tangible actions in ways that are exemplary. They demonstrate a long-time commitment to serving the St. Louis community through empathetic leadership and generous support of new Americans. Multiculturalism Pioneers pave the way for a more inclusive and prosperous region by cultivating a community that empowers refugees and immigrants.
